Looking for help and guidance on a situation I'm encountering.
We run 6300 stacks in each IDF, anywhere between 2-6 member stacks. We use the mgmt interface exclusively with mgmt ports of the conductor and secondary connected to a parallel OOBM network.
The OOBM network uses DHCP reserved IP's against the mgmt mac of the conductor. After our latest upgrade, all conductor roles were switched to the secondary member, meaning all of the mgmt MAC addresses changed and all DHCP reservations were off.
Ideally the mgmt interface would present a virtual MAC so that could be reserved in the DHCP server.
What do you all do in this scenario (other than not run with DHCP reserved IPs)?
