Hello,
In reference to an IAP-215.
I am operating in an environment where I don't want to use 80 MHz channels. I have removed 80 MHz support (not seeing any xxE connections so that is fine). However in the bss-tables I am seeing a-VHT instead of a-HT for my SSID profiels. Is there any problem in disabling 80 MHz, but still having VHT active?
Thanks!
'show ap active'
if you see a '+' or '-', then it's 40Mhz. If you see an 'E' then it's 80 MHz.
Yes, I know (+) and (-) channels are 40 MHz and (E) are 80 MHz.
Just wanting to confirm that there is no problem with having both 40 MHz and still seeing a-VHT in the BSS table.
For reference, only expecting 802.11n clients connected to the SSID.
Ah gotcha, then yea no issues, VHT40 and VHT20 are fine and will support 11n clients no problem.
Thank you! My paranoia just needed to be satisfied.
