  • 1.  Adding a 3COM device in HP ProCurve Manager?

    we have been trying to connect a 3COM switch to the ProCurve manager. ProCurve is able to detect the 3COM switch but it gets stuck trying to gather the switch information. Thus making it unable to map on the network.

    We have even tried manually adding it but again it gets stuck trying to access the switches information.

     

    the 3COM model number is: 3C17205

    THe 4400 superstack are not supported in PCM, see bellow the Device Support in PCM+ 3.xx matric.

    However, you can add it to PCM manualy using its system IOD. PCM management guide will show you how to.
