Network Management

In AMP under the manage section of an AP, there is a text box where you can add "notes" to the AP. I looked but couldnt find an API that would allow me to push text into this "notes" field. Am I missing it?

If there is no specific API for this, is there a CLI command that allows me to write to this "notes" field?

currently, the notes field can only be updated individually from the device manage page.  it's a feature request to get the field added into the API for editing.

There are 3 options to get the notes field

1. Inventory Report - Select 'Devices' option in inventory report and select the columns to show which includes notes.
2. From Devices > down list create new view to include columns that are needed along with 'notes' and download the XML when needed.
3. API - https://<AirWave IP Adress>/ap_list.xml?limit_to_down=1 includes 'notes' output too.
