I don't have a hardware appliance to test this If you don't get an answer, it's probably best to reach out to TAC Support. I could imagine that the network interfaces are placed in a bridge, so it does not matter which interface you connect, but could not find details on that. TAC should know and can help you to get your question answered.

Subject: Airwave appliance Ethernet Bridge?
Airwave appliance has 4 copper, 2 fiber port.
IP is configured on both fiber ports.
Only 1 fiber port is cabled to the network.
Why is both ip reachable?
Is there a way to disable that?
What happens if i configure a dummy gateway on 2nd interface?
Will both be still reachable?
