Is there a cert chain and the entire chain uploaded to the server? Some self signed certs are not acceptable by some browsers depending on the Org security. No Certificate means the browser is not accepting the CA. Either the self signed is not recognized by your browser or not recognizing the root CA of CSR certificate. Is the issue same in incognito mode?
