    Hello,

     Is anyone else using Ekahau project import with Airwave 8.2.10? This is an excellent feature, however the map image seems to be very low quality that it is unusable. Just wondering if anyone else has this issue or whether there is a known fix for this?

    Airwave VisualRF support Ekahau backup version 10 and above,There is a limitation related to floor dimensions, number of walls.

    When we upload visularf image, backed software converts the image in to svg and jpg format and divide floor in to gird cells, it required lot of resources to process this information. Having larger or smaller grid cells will have adverse impact on heatmap display and system performance due to this we recommend to have accurate floor measurements, currently we support 2500*2500 dimensions floor.

    Check VisualRF log under system>status for height/width of uploaded floor.

    Sample log

    HTTP[13]     com.airwave.svg.http.BackgroundUtils Generated background and/or thumbnail images for {Site: id=5e2d428d-a860-4ccf-ad94-7434e0643888; name=Floor 3; buildingId=b888ac19-577c-4213-a322-76dfa35aed6b; buildingName=null; ceilingAtten=null; ceilingHeight=null;floor=3.0; numAps=null; env=null; gridsize=null;height=2004.5931789; width=7555.774289700001; ubits=null; dataRate=null; clientXmitMw=null; orientationLocation=null; creatorRoleId=5; envCheck=null lastEnvCheckTimenull;lastApPlacementCheckTime=null}

    Thanks for the clarification Pavan. I was not able to see the log info in VisualRF, however that was most likely due to the log level setting.

    I did notice that the building scale for any Ekahau import is set to 1024ft x 768ft (I assume the same for the image but in pixels). Is there any way for VisualRF to grab the actual measurement from the import?

    VisualRF read the floor height/width during upload automatically, we can check this details during floor upload.

    I would recommend to try with different floor and check once with Ekahau tool admin.
