Hi,
The timeout of Putty sessions depends on keep alive times and session between keep alive. Try below options to see if that works for you.
https://www.a2hosting.com/kb/getting-started-guide/accessing-your-account/keeping-ssh-connections-alive/
https://askubuntu.com/questions/254750/how-to-make-putty-ssh-connection-never-to-timeout-when-user-is-idle
P.S. Even though putty times out, the upgrade will continue in the backend.

Subject: Airwave update ssh session closed after 10 min
Hi,
I am trying to upgrade my airwave vm. Having everything in place, al seems to be okay
Upgrade starts....... unpacking etc etc
upgrade script
upgrade package fount
validating the upgrade
But after I guess 10 min my ssh session is being terminated.
I was given a suggestion to enable keepalive on putty or use teraterm because keepalive is enabled by default.
No luck so far, sessions are being termininated after 10 min. It seems keepalive is not the answer, or look like it is not applied to my session.....
Anyone a suggestion to get this fixed, except the option of pressing "a key" every 9 min to keep my session alive?
thanks,
regards, Jeroen Voss
