AoS 8 standalone controller

    Hi there,

     

    I am following "AoS 8 Fundamentals guide" for understanding Controller options in 8. In page 21, Point 5 says standalone controller option available in Hardware-based controllers only. But during OVF deployement, i have seen standalone oprtion? can anyone clarify this?

    A VMC can run in standalone or in managed mode under a MM.
