    Hi Airheads,

Please review the following diagram - and than read my issue / question:

Client request - as long as WAN1 is working all traffic  should passed via WAN1 on the first 9004,IF, WAN1 on the first 9004 is going down than all traffic should pass to the 2nd 9004 and use it WAN1 port.

(We Achieve this by marking the uplink tracking option.)

BUT - both controllers are also acting as DHCP server (172.40.*.254 is controller 1 and 172.40.*.253 is controller 2 of each VLAN) for multiple vlans. and when traffic is being transmitted to the 2nd controller - the clients that got address still using the controller 1 ip address as their gateway address - what causing the client traffic to drop. I solve it by creating VRRP address to each vlan that the controller doing DHCP for.. but yet it taking 20-40sec to users to be able to browse and use the internet again.

I wanna know what are the option for shared DHCP scope in AOS10 , and any tip or walk trough on how to achieve the redundancy type me client request and minimize the 20-40sec time when users traffic is being changing from gw1 to gw2.

    Please advise.

Do these 9004s gateways have sd-wan subscription? if so you can refer to this Aruba Branch Gateway Redundancy technote.
