Yes, and don't do that. If the AP absolutely must be mounted on a wall, then source one of the horizontal wall mounts (or fabricate) that allows for proper orientation of the AP.

We will be implementing a new Aruba wireless network in a brand new building using Aruba AP-615 access points. In the datasheet for the AP-615 it very clearly states they are meant to mounted to a ceiling. We have noticed in the building plans some of the access points may be mounted on a wall vertically. Has anyone had any experience with this type of mounting with an Aruba access point and did it affect the coverage in a poor way as opposed to a horizontal mount.
