    Hello,

I like to install an AP-ANT-40 to cover outdoor area.

Is this antenna is resistant for water ?

    Thanks for your help

No it is not. This is an indoor antenna, intended to be mounted on the ceiling (facing down). Not sure I understand the outdoor use-case.

    Hello

    Thank you for your response.

I mean outdoor a building where the antenna is exposed to rain and snow.

This would not be the right antenna for that.

AP-ANT-40 is intended to be mounted horizontally, facing down, attached to a ceiling. Would it not be protected from the weather in that case?

Temperature range is not a problem for this antenna, but exposure to rain/snow is.

Yes. AP-ANT-19 is the most common outdoor omni, but you will need multiple of those depending on the AP/radio you're using. Definitely not as compact or cost effective.

Have you considered using an outdoor AP with built-in omni antennas (AP-365/375/575)?
