  • 1.  AP303 : connection not stable with old hardware

    Hi,

    i changed some old Cisco controller AP with AP303 and now some hardware that were ok are disconnecting (they are connected using "telnet"). These are some Windows CE Motorola MT2090 using 802.11G.

    Are there some parameters i can optimize ?

    Hi,

    First have a look into the Cisco configuration, specifically SSID and RF settings. if you are not doing any RF survey. 

    then you can fine-tune the tx-power and data rates.

    Hi NHN,

    i forgot to say that this is not a distance issue or so. In fact even when close from access point, not moving, we loose the connection.

    We also have wireless printers (for stickers) that we have to always ping, if not they loose the connection.

    In fact another thing is odd : if i ping the MT2090 i have many loss, but if i ping them 6 times per second or more it is better.

    It is like the AP had to be always woken up
