  • 1.  AP375 Firmware question

    I have looked and do not seem to see any 6.X IAP firmware that is listed to work on an AP375, only 8.X. I have a client who has a 7005 controller and bought these APs and they keep failing to connect when being converted to campus APs.

     

    When looking, the APs are in instant mode and are running 8.X firmware while the 7005 is on 6.4.X firmware. We were wanting to downgrade the radios to make it easier on their deployment but am not sure that is an option. 

     

    Anyone have experience on this? Any help is greatly appreciated.

    The 37x datasheet here:  https://www.arubanetworks.com/assets/ds/DS_AP370Series.pdf says that the minimum firmware on Instant and Campus is 8.3.0.0.  The controller will have to be upgraded to 8.3.0.0 to use this access point.
