  • 1.  AP505 Disconnection Issues in Systems with Realtek 8822CE WiFi Adapter

    Hi all,

We have an office network where users have been issues with intermittent disconnections.

This has been going on for a few months now; the common threads are that they are using standard-issued Lenovo Thinkpad E14 Gen 3 which all have the Realtek 8822CE WiFi Adapter / Wireless LAN 802.11ac card in it. Their drivers are all up to date. They only have this issue in the office, not at home.

We also have other users at the office using Dells with Intel WiFi adapters, and one person on a MacBook. No WiFi issues for them.

We're using all Aruba AP-505s across our office space and we've ensured the firmware on it is at its latest, 8.11.1.0_86591.

Has anybody else noted the same issue with Realtek 8822CE WiFi adapters or any other WiFi adapter for that matter?

Thanks for your comments and input.

    Hi,

Try the driver from Lenovo. I've seen it work better than the one from Realtek:
