    I heard from my friend AP505 has built-in L7 DPI in AP itself and not in controller

     

    QUESTIONS

    1. if that true, will it block torrent if configured

    2. what it can block beside torrent

    The L7 DPI or AppRF when it comes to Aruba, is available on the IAP (Instant Access Point) operating model, and the Controller based operating model. There are thousands of App signatures built in. WebCC or Web Content Classification can help you with filtering things based on web categories.
