    Hello dears,

We are planning to provide a hotel's guest rooms with AP505H mounted vertically above a false ceiling.
My question is, does mouting the AP in a reverse position affect the signal in the room? we need to flip it because we're connecting the 4 cables to this AP (from the switch and to the room) and mouting can be difficult with the cable ports in the bottom.

The AP-505H is designed to be mounted vertically (to a wall or wall-box). Both the antenna patterns and thermal characteristics are optimized for that deployment. Also, the AP-505H is not plenum rated, and has a max ambient operating temperature of +40C.
Deploying it the way you describe in an area that may be hot and without much ventilation is a bad idea.
