Hi all,

I'm looking into the DAC for 2930F (JL254A) model.

Trying to achieve VSF via SFP instead of BaseT.

I've successfully configured the VSF and got 2 switces working well.

But now would like to do the same with SFP/SFP connection.

upon searching, there doesn't seem to be an Arube named SFP/SFP Direct Attach Cable, would the HP X240 one work?

Is there any third party one that's been tested and worked well?

IMHO HPE X240 DAC Cables wouldn't work (read here to understand X240 portfolio positioning: they were not positioned for Aruba Campus).

As per Aruba 2930F's QuickSpecs, Aruba 2930F Switch series supports these two DAC cables:

• Aruba 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 1 m Direct Attach Copper Cable J9281D

• Aruba 10G SFP+ to SFP+ 3 m Direct Attach Copper Cable J9283D

Hardware revision B (J9281B and J9283B) should be supported too.
