I have several Aruba 5406R-zl2's in production that from time to time have error messages as those below:
M 04/23/20 11:35:42 02794 chassis: AM1: Internal power supply 2: PoE power exceeds the temperature threshold value. Power supply faulted. Total fault count: 0
M 04/23/20 11:35:42 02798 chassis: AM1: Internal power supply 2 main PoE power faulted. Total fault count: 1
M 04/23/20 11:36:42 02794 chassis: AM1: Internal power supply 2: PoE power within the temperature threshold value. Power supply OK. Total fault count: 1
M 04/23/20 11:36:42 02798 chassis: AM1: Internal power supply 2 main PoE power OK. Total fault count: 1
The error I have a question about is it exceeds the temperature threshold value. However, I seem to be unable to find other temperature commands in the switch than the general command:
switch1# show system temperature
System Air Temperature
Temp Current Max Min
Sensor Temp Temp Temp Threshold OverTemp
------- -------- ----- ----- ---------- ---------
Chassis 23C 26C 20C 55C NO
Is there a command to see the temperature of the PSU's? What are their threshholds set at? The switch has 2 x J9829A PSU's and the power consumption is rather low compared to the 1100 W they can deliver.
switch1# show system power-consumption
