Aruba 6000 GVRP support

    Good day,

    I have a hunch I know the answer to this, but I wanted to make sure. In our company we have been relying on GVRP, but now we are getting new ArubaOS CX switches (mainly the 6000) and it seems like it no longer supports GVRP, but only MVRP. Is this true? Or are there any ways to get GVRP working? I much prefer GVRP over MVRP.

    Hi Ronald,
    As GVRP is outdated, I think it is just skipped for CX devices (MVRP only).
    Here the Feature List of all Aruba devices: https://feature-navigator.arubanetworks.com/
    GVRP is not listed as well (neither in the list, nor in the manuals).

    Unfortunately you are right – GVRP is not supported for CX devices.
