    Hello everyone,

I am new on this forum and I have a question about IMC :

Are the new Aruba 6000 (2530 replacement) fully compatible with the last version of IMC ?
I saw in the realease note that the 6100 were but no mention of the 6000.

I'm having issue with SNMPv3 Information feedback (Switch model not being understood by IMC for example)
My Aruba 6000 is not recognized by IMC as a switch, and I cannot push new VLANs etc. through IMC.

Could you please help me ?

    Thank you !

I am working with a customer on this. As of now it doesn't look like the 6000 series is supported. It can be monitored in Aruba Airwave, and can be managed and monitored in Aruba Central (running 10.08.1010 or later).

    Hello there,

If the system does not recognize your device , please check in iMC Gui  System- Device definition-Device model and add the device with specific sysOID.
For Vlan management to work with Aruba OS CX Rest Api configuration is needed. the two problems fixed in P11 release are related to Rest Api credentials showing succesfull in iMC even if they are not correct and Rest Api is unable to read vlan information from Aruba 6000 devices .

    Kind regards,

    Hello to both of you.

I've added manually the device through the "Device Definition" settings, so this side is fine now.

After the configuration of the REST API, VLAN management also works with my Aruba 6000. (Last IMC update, PLAT 7.3 E0706P11)

    Thank you for your answer
