    Hi,

I have two Aruba 670 series that are used to connect via mesh setup (it was previously set before I came to the company).

The setup used to work just fine, but all of sudden I couldn't talk to the system through the Aruba mesh setup.

Noticed that the AP had flashing green.

So I connected the console cable, putty into it, and saw that the interface Br0 assigns itself 169.xxx.xxx.xxx ip address instead of the static IP we've been using.

When I do "show ap-env" or something like that, I see the static ip address.

But when I do "show ip interface detail," I see 169.xxx.xxx.xxx ip address.

    Why would that be?

Also, at the same time, I noticed that the AP on the host side shows no mesh role.

The AP on the client side shows mesh role as "mesh point."

I have a duplicate setup, and that shows "mesh portal" on the host side and "mesh point" on the client side.

This is what I have observed so far.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Just worked too long on Friday....
