-Needed CPU = 8   for Mdeium Deployment

-Needed CPU = 16 for Large Deployment

    what does 8 & 16 Means ?

is this CPU Cores or what ?  is it sinle CPU or Dual or what ? what is CPU Speed in Ghz ?

    The datasheet says CPU cores:

As for what CPU type and speed, all I would advise is a modern CPU.

    Hi guys,

Hope i can feed some information, Just done the course 'Yayi" , on a different note:

ALE scaling or specs has been changed there are no more 3 brackets only 2:

    1-Medium - up to 1K/16K  - 8 cores - RAM 16GB min. - Disk 120GB

    2-Large - up to 2K/32K  - 16 cores RAM 32GB min. Disk 160GB

(you can purchase a CPU as you see fit, although it depends on your server, have you got 1 CPU socket or 2\3\4? if 2+ great, now it depends on how much you want to spend? and plan for growth, 4/8/12 (example: 1 x CPU Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-2697 v2 - has 12core/24 threads)

some CPUs come with 2/4/6/8/12 cores

with CPU sizes, you need to make sure... Motherboard can handle the CPUs you want to buy, does it have 1/2/4/6/8 sockets, cost vs the need and growth, whats you growth expectation, do you want to allow for that (for you not to buy another server in the next 3-5 years (able to sweat the asset as much as possible)

I hope this helped... apologies for the long response.

    Thanks

    G
