Hi all ,

We have 40+ indoor AP-225 showing amber light .

We connected using Extreme Switch PoE+ as well HP PoE+ Sw , but when AP-325 is used with same switch it works with full power.

We checked AP-225 using Power Injector it works normal ,all are green light

Kindly assist , what may be the issue for AP-225 amber light ? 

You could check this Airheads post which is a similar question. Also, there are 4 LEDs on the AP. Power LED amber means that there has not been applied or negotiated full PoE+ power. Ethernet LED amber means 100Mbps instead of Gigabit. Wifi LEDs amber means they are in legacy mode, possible because WEP is enabled. I have seen poor quality cables as a reason to go 100Mbps or standard PoE. The case was similar, but the injector was connected with a short cable directly to the AP, when connected to the switch the buidling-cabling was used in which a quality issue was detected. 

What firmware are you running? And are you running Instant or are the APs connected to a controller?

we are firmware  OS 6.5  and the APs are terminated to controller .
