I didn't, but just tested with my Kindle (think 4 years old... so maybe even older) and see briefly a certificate error on the first connect, which then goes away and never returns. I wouldn't be surprised if the browser in the Kindle is just not capable of connecting to a modern website or doesn't have the current root certificates.

Subject: Aruba Central Cloud Guest splash page problems with Kindle & Nooks
We have several hospitality WiFi networks managed on Aruba Central. It works well but we are hearing from staff about Kindle & Nook e-reader issues loading the Aruba Central Cloud Guest Terms of Service splash page. Miscellaneous guests are reporting that they are not able to get the splash page to load via the device's ToS popup or manually via web browser.
Does anyone have any experience or thoughts with these devices on Aruba Central Cloud Guest SSIDs.
Thanks,
