I have moved customer over from a controller based environment to AOSv10 and can say that the solution has been running great! If you were to manage an IAP cluster with central, then you have a supported maximum cluster size of 128 APs. When using AOSv10, its like Central is the Mobility Master/Conductor. Gateways can still be used to tunnel selected traffic.

Subject: Aruba central vs inhouse solution WLAN for large network
I would like to know if anybody has migrated from Aruba's in-house solution (Airwave/MM/MC) to Aruba Central.
Please share your experience.
I tried the Cisco Meraki, but the solution is not designed for a large network.
I'm wondering if central has the same limitations.
