Hello. Was wondering if anyone could help.
I created a new SSID in mobility conductor walking through the "NEW SSID WIZARD", assigned a vlan, configured security to a captive portal, added clearpass server hostname in, added the pages from Clearpass guest and saved then saved.
I take a test laptop and try to authenticate to new SSID, it connects, device gets the right vlan and IP, a web browser opens and the url redirects me to the URL I instructed in the SSID Wizard, but i get a "Can't reach this page" error instead of a login portal.
While i'm connected still to that SSID, i can ping the gateway of the wireless network, I can ping the clearpass server both by IP and by DNS, I just can't web to the clearpass server.
Is there anything in the "Default" roles that would restrict that clearpass guest portal from being displayed for authentication?
On a computer that IS authenticated to the network and on the same wireless vlan, I can web to clearpass page both by IP and by DNS. The captive portal page displays correctly by url. It just doesn't work if i'm trying to authenticate to the network and go through the redirect.
In mobilty conductor, I've ensured there's a ip for each conductor in the vlan in question.
