  • 1.  Aruba escalation tac wants us to open a ticket with Apple

    Hi,

    I just wanted to ask if anyone has experienced captive portal issues with Apple IOS users intermittently getting the pop-up. I have opened a case with Aruba TAC and the feedback is its not a clearpass or aruba central issue but an Apple issue. this issue doesnt happen with our Android users. I have been clearing the entry in endpoint for every test we do and take into account mac caching times and have turned off mac randomization and in aruba central we disabled prevent CNA option from clearpass and enabled autowhitelisitng URL feature BUT the issue still persists. I have opened a case with Aruba TAC and the feedback is its not a clearpass or aruba central issue but an Apple issue. this issue doesnt happen with our Android users. We can't be the only one having this intermittent issue? I feel that we are either having something misconfigured or are missing a config somewhere.

    Tunneled or bridged?  Seeing a MAC auth on ClearPass that corresponds with the device popping up the captive portal?
