HI! Can I use Windows AD for Authentication on Aruba SSE agent?

Yes, ADFS or ClearPass are methods that I heard of and work. Other SAML solutions that are integrated with your on-premises AD should work as well.

I know that there is documentation available, if you reach out to your Aruba partner or local HPE Aruba Networking SSE team or sales team, you should be able to get access to it.

    Hi Herman,

Thanks for the reply. Do I need to install connector on the AD?

Or does existing connectors on the same zone will work?

Such integration uses SAML 2.0 and there are different methods to get that done, two mentioned already.

For ADFS and ClearPass, I know there is documentation, but don't think that is publicly posted. Best to work with your local Aruba partner or Aruba (SSE) Sales Team to get access to that.

Hi, we support SAML 2.0 for authentication with Aruba SSE. For onprem AD to integrate you need to use ADFS which supports SAML 2.0.  We have some internal guides for integrating ADFS which i can share. Its much easier if you can use Entra ID

FYI our docs site is here https://docs.axissecurity.com/docs/azure-idp-integration
