Such integration uses SAML 2.0 and there are different methods to get that done, two mentioned already.
For ADFS and ClearPass, I know there is documentation, but don't think that is publicly posted. Best to work with your local Aruba partner or Aruba (SSE) Sales Team to get access to that.

Yes, ADFS or ClearPass are methods that I heard of and work. Other SAML solutions that are integrated with your on-premises AD should work as well.
I know that there is documentation available, if you reach out to your Aruba partner or local HPE Aruba Networking SSE team or sales team, you should be able to get access to it.
