we also use this API for automation in a large scale deployment (AOS 10 with around 15.000 APs).
You can apply through the Greenlake page and describe the Greenlake team how you want to use the API. When you get some support from your Aruba SE it should be possible to get beta access.
But a small heads up: The API is heavily rate limited. For this specific API (sub to device serial) you can do 25 devices per minute. Thats 5 calls with 5 devices per call per minute.

Hi KS9,
Is there any timeframe on when this API will be moved to public? We are in the same boat where we require the ability to assign a specific subscription key to a specific device as part of our automation

Hi,
Currently, Central APIs only allow you to specify the type of subscription(foundation_ap, advanced_ap, etc.) to a device(by serial number) and not the exact subscription key. In order to assign a subscription key to a device or to assign a device(s) to an application, you can use this Greenlake Beta API. Today, these APIs are in beta and will become public soon. Once the API public, you can use it to automate the license assignment process.

Subject: Assign a specific Subscription Key to Device Serial
Hi all,
We operate an MSP account, on boarding customers for 'X' number of years, we purchase Aruba Central subscriptions for the term of the customer/tenant contract term.
This means that devices used for the tenant should use the subscription key for the duration of the customers contract and then when they renew a new sub-key would be purchased & applied.
Currently applying the sub-key to the device is a manual process that we'd like to automate as part of on boarding the devices.
Looking through the API's there doesn't seem to be an API to apply a subscription key to a specific device serial number, unless i've missed something?
All suggestions welcome, thanks in advance.
