Hello, I have the following problem. By the documentation I can restrict the limit of bgp routes by command: peer IP_ADDRESS route-limit 5000 alert-only I need it because bgp is eating all limits and I cannot add a new route without removing any current route. When I simply perform the command "peer IP_ADDRESS route-limit 5000" the connection is being dropped with a peer as it reaches 5000 routes. But I cannot perform the command "peer IP_ADDRESS route-limit 5000 alert-only" because my hp swtich doesn't have it. peer IP_ADDRESS route-limit ? This software isn't working for our switch. 3com4800g doesn't want to boot with it.

Can you paste the error? And; did you upgrade the bootloader first?

Hello, I uploaded the recommended OS at the hp switch s5500ei-cmw520-r2208-s168.bin and configured the booting from this OS in the next time: The current boot app is: flash:/s4800g-cmw520-r2102p02.bin The main boot app is: flash:/s5500ei-cmw520-r2208-s168.bin The backup boot app is: flash:/s4800g-cmw520-r2102p02.bin When I connected to hp via console I didn't see errors, hp switch just was restarting all time.
