Greetings,
I was looking over the AirGroup documentation and wasn't clear on whether or not the following is doable.
The situation:
We use PaperCut MF and Mobility Print for faculty/staff and students to easily find the printers. I have the printers segregated by subnets (students can only "see" certain printers and faculty/staff members can "see" most all printers. PaperCut's Mobility Print uses Bonjour/AirPrint in the setup I have. I'm using DNS discovery. It works exactly as I expect and want it to.
However, I see quite a few clients on my network that are rebroadcasting/sharing these printers. On my managed devices, this is easy to solve. However, with BYOD, it presents a bit of a challenge.
My question: Can I use AirGroup to BLOCK the printer sharing from client devices, yet allow them to "see" and print to the printers they're allowed to use? I DO want both faculty/staff and students to use AirPlay. Faculty/staff and students have separate VLANs.
My APs are managed in ArubaCentral. All APs have the Foundation licenses. I have AP-515s, 535s, and 575s. All are running AOS 10.04
Thanks so much!
