    Hi

     

    is there anyway we could block IOS and android devices specifically connecting to a particular SSID. i have a 3600 aruba controller and it had latest version of software 6.4.3.7

    The specific wireless is setup of computer based testing and teachers in the classroom will connect the laptops to this specific wireless. For easy access right now is open

    It would be easier to enable authenticaton via 802.1x.  An Open SSID does not leave you many security options that cannot be circumvented.

    Is device descrimination  possible with a controller based SSID?

     

    I know ClearPass can but hoping to achieve this without migrating the SSID to ClearPass.
