Cannot access with default password on IAP-615

  • 1.  Cannot access with default password on IAP-615

    Hi All,

    I tried to factory reset the access point in apboot mode and press the reset button to hard reset but no response.
    TAC said the username is admin and the password is Capital Serial Number or admin/admin.
    But on which AP is run on 8.x will be only Capital Serial Number. 
    TAC said only Aruba Central to reset.

    Is it the correct way?

    that is the correct procedure to reset an IAP.
    i suggest to take that particular IAP, factory default it in a different VLAN from where you have the IAP cluster and then login to it .
