Central / IAP / Groups config question

    We have a small handful of IAPs (225 and 325) that are managed through Central. They are at 2 separate sites (so 2 different configurations). Currently, they are not in "groups". I have added the groups, but have not added devices to the groups yet. Under "organization" -> "groups" , if I move the devices from unassigned to the appropriate group, will it effect the config (beyond now belonging to the group)? I could also add the individual devices from "sites and labels" to the appropriate site from the unassigned category, would that mess with any other parts of the configs, or just that membership?

    Edit: Sorry, forgot to make it clear that these are configured and have been up and running for a while, so I don't want to make a change that will affect that..

    The configuration in Central is bound to the Group.

     

    If you change a device to another Group, it will take that Group's configuration.

     

    Sites and labels are just administrative and can be used for reporting or logical filtering of devices and don't have any effect on the configuration of your IAPs.
