Hi!
In Aruba OS 6.5.x there´s something called Centralized BID allocation which guarantees that two IAP-VPN-Branches with distributed L3 DHCP scope configured can´t get the same branch subnet if they connect their VPN to different local controllers. This means each local controller always turns to the master controller for the BID allocation.
We´re migrating to 8.x for a customer which uses this today but I can´t find any similar feature. How does Aruba OS 8.x handle this? We want to be able to terminate on two different managed devices and we need to be certain that there´s no change in IP scopes or IP scope conflicts when failover occurs.
Anyone know?
Cheers,
