    Hellp All,

I have 2 controllers configured as master and slave, each controller have his own licences because those cotrollers was in a standby mode before.

If we enable the centralized licence option it doesn't work.

It is possible to centralize / merge those licences ?

    Regards

What indicates that centralized licensing isn't working?

    Hi cclemmer,

When i enable " Enable Centralized Licensing " in the Configuration> Controller> Centralized licenses  then i check through the CLI usin the command : show licence aggregate  i dont se the standby master on the aggregate licence table and i dont see any centralization or exchange of licences when i use the command show licence server table .

    Regards

What OS version are you running? If this a Mobility Master (MM), Master controller mode (MCM), standalone and backup, Master/Master or Master/Local (OS 6)?  Is this configured with VRRP between them?

    Hello westcott

we have 2 x Aruba7210 configured in a MASTER /BACKUP and using the version 6.5.4.13.
yes the VRRP is configured on but it necessary to have an HA group configuration ?  i send you a screenshot of the master configuration .

    Thanx

You do not need HA configured. Is VRRP (virtual router redundancy section) needs to be configured the same on both controllers, except for the priority. Then the master redundancy section needs to be configured identically on both controller, except each controller is pointing to the peer ip address of the other controller.

When you do "show vrrp" and "show database synchronize" on each controller is the VRRP showing configured on both and is the database showing synchronization attempts success?

    Hi,

I solved the problém by reconfiguring the VRRP, now i have all the licences merged of the 2 controllers.

I think it was a problem of VRRP.
So i have a question about the HA group, what is the purpuse og this feature ?
    Regards

HA Group allows for an AP to generate a Primary and Standby GRE tunnel to Mobility Controllers. This allows for a faster failover (compared to VRRP and LMS/BLMS) and will allow for L3 failover over verses a L2 (such as VRRP) failover.
