I've configured VRRP on both of my controllers (7220s) and after testing the failover, everything works fine.

I go try to configure centralized licensing by inputing the licensing server IP which is the VIP/aruba-master dns entry (the peer address of the standby controller was already populated) and I receive the following error:  Master redundancy is configured. To configure License server redundancy, please disable the master redundancy.

How can I configure centralized licensing while keeping my VRRP configuration?

That error message should be removed, because it is misleading.  You just need to enable Centralized Licensing, and you're done with your setup.
