Thank you ! cool ! That tells me I can remove the crap w/o danger. I was wondering whether I had created those without thinking.... scratching head... :-)

Hello Holger,
if I remember the problem correctly - at some point the developers added in the code lines so IMC was performing monthly backup of all cfgfiles and archiving them in zip files.
Once we found out this problem they removed this feature

Funny I just discovered it this week :-) all from 2021.
I wonder why the directories and then the zip files were created in the first place ? Silent backupfile archives ?

Hello,
Just a short addiotion to Marina`s comment - the issue is solved in E0706, but the old zip files will remain in iMC/server/data/cfgbak. This means that they must be manually deleted.

Vasil

After receiving an alert from our iMC server that space was getting low on C: we found that the folder Program Files/iMC/server/data/cfgbak was using a large amount of space.
Looking into this it seems that on the first of each month it is creating a folder and copying all files in cfgbak before then creating a zip file of the folder and putting it into cfgbak. However this then means each month it is capturing the zip files from the previous months and bundling them up into the current month.
The only other reference to this I've found is in the old iMC forum, but there was no definitive solution given: Backup storage growth with MC PLAT 7.3 E0705P07 an... - Hewlett Packard Enterprise Community (hpe.com)
Has anyone else come across this and found/implemented any kind of solution (i.e. scripted a task to clear out the zip files)?
