Hi Osama -
The severity levels assigned to specific log events are predefined and cannot be changed. This ensures consistent severity assignments and uniformity of log management and monitoring.
You may be able to accomplish your goal through the use of logging filters. With a logging filter, you can permit/deny log generation and forwarding based on severity level, event ID, or even specific message content. Check out this tech doc for more info: https://www.arubanetworks.com/techdocs/AOS-CX/AOSCX-CLI-Bank/cli_6300-6400/Content/Chp_RSyslog/RSyslog_cmds/logging%20filter.htm
I hope this helps!
Jay :-)

Subject: Changing the Log and Event IDs severity - ARUBA AOS-CX 6300M
Hello Everyone,
Can anyone let me know how can I change the Log or Event ID severity on ARUBA AOS-CX switch? I mean, If I have a Log Event with severity info, can I change this severity for the Log Event from Info to Critical? For example, The port security violation when client limit exceeded generates a Log Event with severity info, can I change this severity to critical so that when port security violation happens, the Log Event generated will have severity critical instead of info?
