    hi Airheads,

quick question about Clearpass in Azure,

when creating a storage account one of the storage account settings relates to replication and the guide says to "retain the default read-acces

    geo-redundant storage setting.

a customer has asked can they use LRS instead of GRS ?

    any ideas ?

    cheers

    Pete

If I read this, ClearPass would not even know how storage redundancy is handled. But also: "LRS is the least expensive replication option, but isn't recommended for applications requiring high availability or durability.".

And if it's not recommended by the cloud vendor, that may be a reason for the recommendation to keep the default settings.

If you need to have an official statement if Azure LRS is supported, I would reach out to TAC, or through your local Aruba SE.
