If I read this, ClearPass would not even know how storage redundancy is handled. But also: "LRS is the least expensive replication option, but isn't recommended for applications requiring high availability or durability.".
And if it's not recommended by the cloud vendor, that may be a reason for the recommendation to keep the default settings.
If you need to have an official statement if Azure LRS is supported, I would reach out to TAC, or through your local Aruba SE.
