In that case, please ask TAC to upgrade the keys for you. I'm not doing this on a daily basis and TAC should always be available to fix these kind of licensing questions.

In the portal I can see all my PAKs but as most of the CPPM have been activated before 2020 the key is still the old one and didn't get updated.
Also when checking via CLI on the cppm it shows the old PAK while running 6.9.x.
LMS works to generate PAK if they are not already in the portal. I had the 6.6.x PAK that came with the device to activate it.
If I try to generate a 6.8.x PAK with the device's serial number I get a note that a PAK (apparently 6.7.x) already has been generated. "PAK already available with same Serial number."

I think you can upgrade your PAK to 6.8.x yourself via: https://lms.arubanetworks.com/licenses/pak
If that does not work, TAC can probably help you to get it done.
You would need to keep your PAKs, but they should also show up in the LMS/ASP where you can download them after they were activated. If you don't see all your licenses in LMS/ASP, check with TAC to get that fixed.
When you deploy CPPM 6.11, your (6.8+) PAKs and licenses are automatically released to be activated on 6.11. If for some reason that does not work, TAC can help there as well.

Hello guys!
I am currently setting up a new test cluster based on C1000 HW Appliances we had in stock. Most of them have been activated with an old 6.7.x PAK, some have already the new 6.8.x PAK. This gave / gives me some issues during the setup, TAC has been already contacted regarding ACR.
My questions are:
a) Can the old PAKs be transformed to the new format to avoid this trouble in the future?
b) What is the process to Backup PAKs & licenses? I checked the auto-backup files but there is no file which contains any license.
c) Looking into the future: How does cppm 6.11 work on HW appliances? Do I need the 6.8.x PAK aswell to activate the plattform after a fresh installation from ISO?
