I'm looking for a way to have an email sponsorship workflow for device registration similar to self-registration for new Guest accounts. Is this possible? Maybe I'm just approaching it wrong.
Desired Workflow:
* A staff member logs into the guest application with their AD creds which they're assigned the role of [Device Registration]
* Staff creates a new device (initially set to 'unapproved')
* IT receives email, approves / rejects device access.
I have added the sponsor email and auto_send_smtp to the fields in the mactrac_create form. However, no email is coming across to the sponsor email.
The idea is staff self-registers their IOT devices, but IT staff would have to approve them. Seems like it would be a pretty common workflow. .
