ClearPass 6.3.0 Cumulative Patch 4 is now available. Release notes are attached. 

Customers should see the cumulative patch in ClearPass Policy Manager’s software update portal screen. It will be under the list of “Firmware and Patch updates”. The cumulative patch is also available on our support site ( support.arubanetworks.com ) at the following location. 

Download Software > ClearPass > Policy Manager > Current Release > Patches > ClearPass 6.3.0 Cumulative Patch 4

There are quite a few changes so do not upgrade until you read through all the release notes, Take a snapshot on VMs and run a Full BACKUP on both appliances and VMs.....

Hello all,

ClearPass 6.4.0. is now available. Please review the attached release notes, 'Chapter 3 - Whats new in this release' section for information on new features and enhancements in this release.

Upgrade instructions: 

• Please review Chapter 2 in the release notes for upgrade support for your current ClearPass versions. 
• 6.4.0 upgrade image can be downloaded and installed from ClearPass Policy Manager’s software update portal at,
• Administration > Agents and Software Updates > Software Updates.
• For ClearPass appliances which do not have access to the Internet, the upgrade image is available on the Aruba Networks support site at, 
• Downloads > ClearPass > Policy Manager > Current Release > Upgrade
• Evaluation and production VM images are available on the Aruba Network support site at,
• Downloads > ClearPass > Policy Manager > Current Release
• ClearPass Evaluation downloads and other locations will be updated to point to 6.4.0 images shortly.

VM Install and Upgrade to 6.4.0: 

• Please review the attached Tech Note about installing or upgrading on a Virtual Machine. 
• If you are upgrading to 6.4.0 from 6.1.X or 6.2.X releases, then you have to attach a larger hard disk. Please review the disk requirements in the attached Tech Note.

A few of you have might have noticed the 6.5 upgrade is showing up in the updates on your CPPM servers. The new images and files will be posted in the next day or so if you need to do a new VM install. The off line files are available on the support site.

I will post a announcement to the running post when the files are ready. 

Big props and Kudos to all the great ideas coming in from customers and the engineers, and guys that put it all together. 

Make sure you keep an eye out at atmosphere for Product Management, Technical Marketing (@dannyjump), @cjoseph myself and the Great MVPs that help out on the post here. I believe fast finger freddie AKA @cappalli, @victorfabian and many others will also be running around so make sure you say hi.

Please remember to read the release notes before you upgrade and make sure you take a current backup and/or VM snapshot.
