    Hello all,

    I am installing a PoC for ClearPass 6.7 with a 90-day trial license. I would like to integrate ClearPass with Intune, so I am using the ClearPass and Intune integration Guide v3.0.

    While creating the Instance the status is going to failed with reason:

    Error creating extension instance: Store lookup failed

    Looking at the Instance logging I found the following:

    Client:    10.100.168.133:64198
    App User:  oauth2:Microsoft Intune
    Script:    cpg_background.php
    Function:  CreateInstanceSync
    Arguments: array (
      'result' => array (
        'error' => 1,
        'message' => 'Error creating extension instance: Store lookup failed',
        'status' => 404,
        'store_result' => array (
          'error' => 1,
          'message' => 'Error fetching extension from store',
          'status' => 401,
          'errorUrl' => 'http://localhost:2375/v1.27',
          'errorBody' => NULL,
          'errorCode' => NULL,
          'type' => 'http://www.w3.org/Protocols/rfc2616/rfc2616-sec10.html',
          'title' => 'Bad Request',
          'details' => 'Installations require Subscription ID',
        ),
      ),
      'time_elapsed' => 0.53847098350525,
      'store_id' => 'd8d419a8-6a1a-4d7e-b564-81d11a75105a',
      'state' => 'stopped',
    )

    Do I need a Subscription ID for the Extension usage or any other options to get this done?

    Found the solutions.

    I only activated the Platform license and forgot the active the application licenses. After activating these licenses the instance can be created.

    Thanks this helped me as a new user as there was no documentation that said this! It would also help if it was documented that the Eval license is not enough to actual evaluate much at all and that we must request licenses from TAC. My first attempt had the case closed because they misread my request and said the ticket was about Azure and they don't support that!

    After activating I needed to restart the services for it to work. This I did invertedly by adding an NTP source and synching.
