  • 1.  Configure 11ax non-contiguous 80+80 MHz channels?

    I have ArubaOS (MODEL: 535), Version 8.6.0.4.

     

    I understand that 802.11ax and 160 MHz settings are not yet supported in the GUI, so I'm working from CLI.

    I learned that the AP-535 does not support contiguous 160 MHz channels, but will operate with 80+80 non-contiguous.

     wide-bands 5ghz
     80mhz-support
     160mhz-support non-contiguous-only

     

     

     

     

    I'm able to set a single 80 MHz channel (I've tried 100E and 116E, but I do not see the 80+80). Is there another configuration setting needed to enable 80+80 non-contiguous?

    What is your regulatory domain?

    This is in US Domain.

     

    80 MHz channels can be individually configured throughout the DFS range, but I cannot find the setting for enabling 80+80 non-contiguous.

    I don't see the AP-555 allowed for any 160mhz channels in the US regulatory domain.

    I don't know about AP-555, but I have AP-535.

    My understanding is it will support two 80 MHz non-contiguous channels for 802.11ax.  It won't show it as an available 160 MHz channel because it doesn't support 160 MHz width in a single channel.
