Hi Team,

controller arp is not getting populated for AP alone however AP and controller are in same VLAN and connected to same switch. 

The same AP shows up in #show arp table of another MD connected in same switch.

MD-8.3.0.6 and AP325

If we add static arp for the AP then it comes up on MD however MD has Arp table for its Default gateway which is of the same network of AP.

Did you try to ping the AP from the controller and check the ARP table after that?

Thank you! Yes I am unable to ping AP from the MD and there is no traffic seen in session table so upon verifying the arp, we see no entry for the AP. So added static arp entry for ap in controller and was able to ping it. 

Shouldn't be the case.. What is the your firmware version? Are you sure the subnet mask for controller and AP is correct?
