    Hi,

I have Aruba 7005 controller with AOS 6.5.1.4 set as the Standalone controller, 3 SSIDs Corp, and Mobile working as expected, however, Guest is not redirecting the correct URL, I have few more Standalone Controller(AOS 6.5.3.6) which are working fine.

    Not working  is redirecting to

While working controller is redirecting to https://xx.xx.xx.xx/upload/custom/local_guest_db/index.html

I manually set the working URL in CP profile still not working,

Please let me know where I am doing wrong.

Configuration on both controller Identical except AOS and VLANs.

We should focus on the controller that is not working.  What is the captive portal authentication profile configuration for the not-working controller?

If I manually enter this URL in browser it works, if I test View CaptivePortal  under Management > Captive Portal > Customize Login Page  selecting local_guest_db profile its redirecting to the https://x.x.x.x/cgi-bin/login?profile=local_guest_db URL and getting blank page

sorry, I missed the correct information to mention.

If I manually enter URL - "https://x.x.x.x/upload/custom/local_guest_db/index.html" in the browser it works,
If end user connects Guest SSID and tries to browse the internet it's redirecting to the "https://x.x.x.x/cgi-bin/login?profile=local_guest_db".
same result if I do testing in the controller

Is your initial role correct? i.e same as per the working controller. As this will be applied to your clients as opposed to you browsing to the Captive Portal via the controller.

Initial role is correct on both working and not working controllers

The issue has been fixed after upgrading  ArubaOS 6.5.1.4 to ArubaOS 6.5.3.6
