Hi, first of all I would like you to ask to upgrade your environment. Version 8.8.0.0 is End of Support since Feb 03, 2022!
I suggest to Upgrade to 8.10.0.14 which is the lastes Long Supported Release. You can download it with a valid Support Subscription here - https://networkingsupport.hpe.com/
There was back in the days a Bug related to Clients not getting an IP Address and I am pretty sure that this will get fixed with an updated Software Release.

What version of code are you using?
Are the 505s in the same AP Group than the "old" APs?
Bridged or tunneled SSID?

Hello,
I have a problem on my site since adding some AP-505. I have a controller Aruba 7030, around 20x AP-303 and AP-305 and newly added, 10x AP-505. One of my clients is trying to connect to one of my WLANs and has connectivity issues when under new APs. On the old site there is no problem. I've noticed it shows no IP address- as on screenshoot attached. When looking at my logs I can see only normal behaviour with roaming between APs. I attach logs below. How can I try to investigate it further?
