    Hi all,

currently we have 10 aruba AP connected to aruba central. the subcribtion nearly to expire date and still dont have plan to renew it.

the AP currently running version 10 os.

can we convert to local instant cluster using this version 10 OS? or we need to downgrade it?

Why don´t you extend subscription? Have you seen the new features which come with "New Central"?

You can do that and that is the beauty of Aruba Gear. What type of APs are in Place?

I would create a new Group for AOS8 APs and configure everything like in the AOS10 Group. Additionally set the Firmware Compliance of that Group to the wanted InstantOS Version (depends on your AP Types) and test the whole configuration by moving one Test AP into that Group.
When everything works fine you can move all the existing APs into the Group. After Firmware upgrade and Config sync the infrastructure should be ready. When Subscription ends everything runs in a local mode.

    hi,

for the new central i already see it, and still need some adjustment to familiarize with the feature

    we use AP535 series.

so it means i need to downgrade to version 8 OS to be able to use instant cluster

    thank you
